The weeks go by faster and faster and faster

Hey Everyone!
What an amazing week I've had! I tell ya, they just continue to get better and better as time goes on! I don't think this is possible at any other time is one's lifetime to have each day increased with the amount of joy I'm feeling out here! Well, maybe there is, but I haven't experienced it yet. Ok, I'll just get right to it for you guys. There's probably going to be quite a few changes coming up this next week though because moves are happening on Thursday, and a lot of missionaries' time is up in Macau, and they have to go back to Hong Kong. I'm trying to treasure my time here as much as possible since it really is such a special privilege to serve here! The Senior Couple that is serving here are the Chambers. They're from Illinois and are actually ending their Mission in July. That really is so funny that you ran into Megan Foote! You know, I think Nick dated her too! Haha! Yeah, I remember her pretty well. It was sad to see her leave, because we were ok friends. I'm proud of you for doing your Missionary Work for the day though Mom! That's what I'm talking about! I'm so happy to hear that the Church is coming along! Whenever I tell people about it, they just cringe and can't believe that someone would actually do something like that. It's all good though because it's not the building that makes the Saints of the Church. I've learned that being out here, and seeing so many different chapels and so many different Saints. We're lucky to at least have a place to meet for Church. In Mainland, they have to meet at each others' homes for Church, since they aren't able to have a chapel. We are very lucky for sure! That's so cool to hear that Doctor Lau helped open Macau for the spreading of the Gospel. Serving here as Missionaries, we talk about that ALL THE TIME! We always mention and bear Testimony at how grateful we all are that we can serve in such a wonderful place with such amazing people! I'm not just saying that either! This really is THE PROMISED LAND! I can't believe Susan is sending that much stuff! That's incredible! I love ya so much Sus! You really have supported FAR MORE than you will ever know! I'm so grateful for you and your family's love and prayers. It means the world to me. Really, it does. Thank you so much! Oh, and Mom...THANK YOU! I wasn't expecting you to be sending that much stuff, but how grateful and blessed I am that you are! I love you so much Momma! Usually, we get mail and stuff when we have to go back when our days expire, but I'm gonna be going back on Tuesday for a Leadership Training at Kowloon Tong, so I'll be there to pick it up. Hopefully it'll be there by then. There's no way Dallin gets home that fast! THERE'S NO WAY! Oh my goodness...that's just ridiculous to think about. This time has gone TOO FAST! I'm excited to see him and catch up on everything when I get back! Oh and Daniel too! Whoah! It seems like everyone just barely left and now is when everyone starts coming home...ALREADY?! I think living at Nauvoo or The Ridge would be great and way nice! You can tell her either of those places would be awesome. I think I might wanna live at Nauvoo apts in Rexburg. Elder Carson Bowden and Elder TJ Toolson have been writing letters back and forth and we're all kinda talking about living at Nauvoo for a bit when we get back. I can't believe Graduation is tomorrow night! There's no way it's already come! What were they doing for their Grad Night Party? Oh man, I remember that night so well and boy was it ever fun! Haha! Oh man, good times. I hope I'll be able to have a reunion with my class someday. Pretty sweet that TREK's on its way too! I bet you guys are gettin pumped! That was another thing I remember so vividly! I tell everyone about it and the experiences and lessons we learned from it! What an unforgettable experience and time to remember those who brought the Gospel to us. Alright, I don't wanna use too much time, because I'm almost out, but this week was so much fun! I heard news that an investigator from T.S.T. (my last area) was baptized this past Sunday. Elder Poon and I started teaching him right when we got together and I thought I was gonna still be there to see him get baptized, but then I was suddenly moved to Macau, so I wasn't able to but the thing is, THAT'S OK! The most important thing is that he was baptized and was able to make those very sacred covenants with our Father in Heaven through the waters of baptism. What a tremendous blessing it was to teach him and see him progress so rapidly! I'm so grateful Elder Poon and his new companion (Elder Creamer from my same MTC group) were able to fulfill their purpose and invite him to continue coming unto Christ through Baptism. Seeing the fruits of your labors even when you're not there to actually see it happen in person is still amazing in itself! Another miracle I'd like to share is last week, Elder Lau and I were feeling pretty down because the investigators we had really weren't going anywhere and just weren't ready for the Gospel in their lives. So we decided to kick it into high gear like never before and found like crazy! At the end of the week, we ended up finding 8 new investigators! That's a lot for Hong Kong and Macau in one week! The average is usually around 2 or 3. This week we're already on our way to getting upwards of ten! What a blessing it is in our Missionary lives to see these precious sons and daughters of our Father in Heaven hear of Him and His Gospel for the first time ever! Their faces just light up like never before, and telling them that they really do have a Heavenly Father that loves and cares about them beyond description is something that is so precious and dear to my heart. So, Elder Merrill and I have been working pretty hard to build up the Macau Zone and have been trying to find new ways to help the Missionaries here as much as we can. It's interesting, because right when it felt like we were starting to get in a groove, Elder Merrill receives a call and was called to serve as A.P. to President Chan! I'm so happy for him! Ahhh! It's an overwhelming joy that once again I can't describe! I honestly can't think of anyone better serving as an Assistant to the President than Elder Merrill! You guys just have to meet him to know what I'm talking about, and trust me, you will! He actually leaves tomorrow to start getting trained before the move ends next Thursday and his assignment begins. But until then, it's just me here in Macau serving as a Zone Leader. It's gonna be interesting but way fun! I've never been in such a unified Zone before, that's for sure! I think it's because every single one of our Zone members sees each other every single day! It really is a blast! A lot of other people are having to leave Macau this move as well, due to Visas, so we're gonna be getting a lot of new Missionaries coming this next week. So, today we're kindof celebrating for him and a few other people that have to leave next week by going to a nearby beach and having like a picnic thing. It'll be fun and I'll be sure to take lots of pictures! Don't worry, I've already taken a bunch since I've been here in Macau. You'll love them! I want to thank you guys for all you continue to do for me and tell you all how much I love and appreciate every one of you! Serving a mission is a life-changing experience, and is unlike anything else in the entire world! I'm so blessed to be here at this time! Thank you so very very much! The Gospel is SO TRUE, it's not even funny! It WILL be preached to every kindred, tongue, and nation! Now, let's stay focused and keep our eye on the prize! Until next week, Do what you do!
Love Always-
Elder Carey
