First off, let me start by saying Happy Birthday STEPHANIE & BOBBY!!! That's so funny your guys' birthdays are so close! I'm sure it makes things easier for you guys, huh? Well, I'd also like to wish you guys a Happy Valentines Day as well...in case you couldn't tell in the heading...ha! I thought about you all day on your B-Day Sis and how much it means to me that I can call you family. Bobby, I've thought about you today as well since today is yours! I'm excited to soon be able to call you family too, man! Keep working hard you two and hold things down at the fort while I'm gone! Valentines Day is a little different here in Hong Kong. They don't really celebrate it much. It's kinda sad, but it's all good. Hong Kong people, just in general, aren't much for showing outward expressions of love. I guess it's just culture. I did think about you all quite a lot more though and reminisced about how much fun Valentines Day is back home! Gee, thanks for making me feel like I'm old out here in the Mission, Pops! I swear I haven't been out for a year. It's only been a couple weeks, hasn't it? You're right though, it is extremely nice not to have to worry about outside cares! I've talked about that with Elders I've lived with and we're all just so relieved we're out doing the best thing we could possibly be doing, and at the same time, not having to worry about homework and money and other things like that. It's so nice, honestly. I'm sure Andrew can STILL relate and feel what I'm feeling too! Can't ya man? Boy, the Ward Activity sounds like it went over HUGE! That's what I'm talkin about Dad! I knew it would be something insane like it always is! Keep it up! You have no idea how cool that is to hear you're goin on splits with the Missionaries. I can't think of a better way to assist in the Lord's work than by doing that. I'm so excited to see how the work is done back home! It should be fun! Steph, there's no need to worry, I know you'll pass your insurance exam! You're smart, remember?! Reading may not be your most favorite thing in the world (yeah I still remember how much you hate it! Haha!) but you're still a smart girl, and I have faith in you. You'll pass for sure sis! Well, FATHER, I would also like to thank you for making me want American food extremely bad right now, as well as Cheesecake Factory. Haha! Just kiddin. I'm actually really loving the food here! In fact, Elder Lee and I were just barely talking about how much we're gonna miss it, because NO WHERE in America has food like some of the regular places I've eaten at. I'm sure that's true for any foreign place Missionaries may go. So, my week went pretty well. Seeing miracles left and right and the hand of the Lord in everything we do! No big deal though. Haha! No, but we've been teaching a lot of really good people lately. They're just struggling with getting to Church. It's kinda far for some people since the area is so big, but that's still no excuse. It all eventually boils down to a faith problem. If they know they will be blessed from coming to Church, then there is no problem. Who doesn't want blessings?! Especially when our Father in Heaven is ANXIOUSLY waiting for us to prove our faith and follow His Son's example by keeping the commandments. What a simple thing to do, but so hard for some at the same time. Today, it was our Zone's turn to go to the Temple! Yeah! Oh man, it was so good! I don't think I've ever stayed longer in the Celestial Room than I did today! It was amazing! I'm just speechless about it, honestly. After our session, we also got to participate in Initiatories as well. What an incredible privilege it is we have as Missionaries to attend the Temple and feel the Spirit of the Lord stronger than ever! I love this Gospel. I know that through Temples, we can be sealed as families for time and all eternity. We here that phrase a lot, but think about it...TIME AND ALL ETERNITY. That's a long time I think. Our Father in Heaven loves us so much that He is giving us this opportunity here on Earth to learn, to grow, and to become our very best selves. What greater blessing do we have on this Earth than that? I love you all and I'm so appreciative of all that you do for me. Stay strong and remember and recognize the hand of the Lord in all you do. Until next week...Do what you do!
