I don't know if I remember what a Costco store is?

Hey Everyone!
Wow.. The wedding sounds like it went INCREDIBLY WELL! I'm so excited to see the pictures you guys took there, you have no idea! I got the package of pictures and photo album, you sent, on Sunday. I was there for a fireside we have after each move where a few recent converts get up give a talk and bear their Testimony, as well as President Chan. I also saw the Sister Missionary you guys saw at the Vancouver Open House again. She was there last time too! Anyways, the pictures are AMAZING! I love the pictures of Calvin and I, and all the other homies from back home! Man, how blessed I was to have such incredible friends like that. I truly will never know how lucky I was. Oh, and then I just got the other big package today with my shoes in it. I had to go to a completely different post office to pick it up, since it was insured. That's why it took so much longer to actually get it. We're not really ever to go out of area, unless it's on P-Day, or have special permission from the Mission President. I haven't yet opened it, but I'm so excited to finally have some shoes without holes in them that fit me! Ha! Thank you guys so very very much! SERIOUSLY! I really do appreciate it so very much! That's way cool that Steve was able to mention me in his speech at the Reception! I wish I could've been there to witness it, but it's ok. No worries. Everything I mentioned though about Andrew, Jessica, and their families is SO TRUE! They are all such incredible people, and truly are excellent followers of Christ. I'm excited to see them when I get back FOR SURE! I'm sorry I put you and dad in tears, mom. It's ok though cuz I'm sure it was all tears of joy. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! Oh, and I think I remember COSTCO....I THINK! Not completely sure though....considering the biggest grocery store here is like the size of the Harbour Point Church building! Ha! Everything else is sold out on the streets...FRESH!!! That's pretty sweet dad that you're coordinating with President Latimer on buses for TREK! I LOVE the picture you sent of me and the other rescuers from it! That's one of my most cherished memories NO DOUBT! What an UNBELIEVABLE experience! Tell President Latimer that I would LOVE to hear from him! I think we have a special connection as well, considering I was one of the last ones he set apart as a Missionary. Remember how we were at his house FOREVER, and he was just waiting at the Church for us along with Bishop Jacobsen?! Ha!ha!ha! Good times! I honestly won't be TOO sad if you guys end up selling the Tahoe, so no worries. I'll just trust it'll be in good hands with whoever it goes to. Holy cow, Nathan's going to North Carolina! That's way awesome! Give him my best and tell him NOT TO WORRY! The Lord takes care of EVERYTHING, trust me! I'm glad you found where Sha Tin is. I live there, but it's not my area. My area is Ma On Shan. It's a bit of a travel each day, just to get to our area, but it's ok. It's DEFINITELY NOT in Mainland! There are absolutely no Missionaries allowed in Mainland, whether living there, or preaching the Gospel. Some day though, for sure! But Sha Tin and my area is very close to the border. Much closer than the Island was for sure. So, I live in an apartment with 6 Elders, one of which is now Elder Loong again! I can't believe it. He just moved to Sha Tin's area and is going to be a Zone Leader here along with his companion. So, this will definitely be a blast! The apartment is much bigger. The last one I was in was I believe the smallest in the Mission, so any apartment after that one would've been nice. I think we have the only one in the Mission with 6 Elders though. It's so much fun! So, it's settled, Elder Oliver is my new companion. He left the MTC 6 weeks early cuz he's in fact half Chinese, and his Cantonese is already way good. So, the MTC decided to let him go way early. With today being the start of the new move, I'm now Senior Companion...I'm actually Step-Training too cuz his trainer of only 6 weeks just left to Kowloon to be a Zone Leader there (Elder Bodily). So we've been in a threesome the past two weeks, but now it's just me and Elder Oliver. I really REALLY hope I'm ready for this kind of responsibility. How blessed I am to have the Lord on my side, guiding me step-by-step, telling me what I should do, where I should go, and what I should say. Elder Oliver is from Turlock, California (Central area). He is the only member in his family and was baptized only two and half years ago. His mom loves that he's doing what makes him happy. I've run into Elder Reeser a TON! He's been in the office for the past few moves, so every time I go to the Mission Office I see him. There's a picture of he and I on one of the last cards I sent. I also took another picture or two of he and I since I've been here. We've decided that when I get back, we're gonna live together at BYU Idaho! YEEAAHH! He's so awesome! I'm sending a big package home today of stuff I thought you guys might want and a couple SD cards. GET READY! This one's good! I have received the pictures from Susan and Grandma Grover! I love them ALL! I'm so grateful they were able to think of me and send me pictures and letters! Ahhh! It's just such an incredible blessing to have such an amazing support system back home of family and friends! I go to the Mission Office maybe a couple times a move. (A move is 6 weeks by the way.) I really don't need anything for my birthday, honestly. But knowing Susan, she's not gonna take that for an answer, so I guess maybe a tie or something. I honestly don't care, and really don't NEED anything. This past week has been pretty crazy! When they told me I was going to be a Senior Companion, Elder Bodily was helping get ready and everything. I also FINALLY Passed Off my GIANT! Now, I can start working on CHARACTERS! It's just the first 1,000 of basic Cantonese that I'll be learning, and then I'll get my MASTER! After that, is LEGEND! That's when you have to learn 3,000 characters and translate a talk from President Monson PERFECTLY! It's rather intense! Haha! Not too many people get LEGEND or MASTER, even. Anyways, I'm WAY STOKED for this Ward! They are way awesome with helping out in Missionary Work and love being present at Lessons with Investigators! PERFECT! It's so sweet! So, hopefully there won't be a language barrier there between Elder Oliver, myself, and the Investigator because we'll have a member present every time...HOPEFULLY! That's always the goal at least! So far, we've done nothing but that and we've had quite a few lessons, some with baptismal dates already. I'll keep you guys posted on those who start progressing quickly. I love you all so VERY MUCH! You have no idea how much a positive influence you've all been and continue to be! You are all such a tremendous blessing in my life, and I am forever grateful for you! I love you! Until next week...Do what you do!
Love Always-
Elder Carey
