You all sounded amazing

Hey Everyone!
Whats going on?! I can't believe I already got to talk to all of you just a couple of days ago! That was so amazing to hear all of you and to hear how you are all doing! E-Mails are great, don't get me wrong, but talking on the phone just doesn't compare. I'm SURE you can relate! It was nice to hear what's gonna be going on this weekend! It sure sounds liike a busy one! HOLY JEEZ! Two farewells, two open houses, and the Young Women's Activity! WOAH! I received the package you sent me just yesterday. Holy cow there's so much in there mom! That's PERFECT though! I love it all and so does the rest of my District! Haha! I LOVE the pictures from the Temple and from dinner before I went to the MTC! I actually needed another photo album, so that worked out well. That's pretty cool about that one kid that's gonna be serving here! We'll all keep a look out for him, and REALLY make him feel welcome! Haha! We went to the Temple for our Trainer/Trainee Meeting and it went SOO WELL! I was pretty excited to see all of MY BOYS from my MTC District. They're all doing well and having tons of success! I couldn't be happier for them! We just did a few practice scenarios all together to keep working on our language and teaching skills. The A.P.'s and the Trainers were all WAY impressed with how far along our language has come and how "buhndeih", or "foreign", we're beginning to sound! So that's a definite plus! We also just shared funny experiences we've had with our Trainers, as well as spiritual experiences that have really stuck out to us since we've been here. It was a great time and we all LOVED seeing each other again, hoping someday we can maybe serve together later down the road. We then went for another Basketball Find later that night, found some boys that wanted to get beaten bad AGAIN! Haha! Just kidding. It was fun though and we had more people ask about us, where we're from, but unfortunately weren't too interested in the Church. Oh well, maybe next time. Anyways, later that day that I had talked with you guys, I went on 24 Hour Exchanges with a MANDARIN Elder, who was in my older District in the MTC! Haha! I thought it was pretty funny and so did he, but we knew we were gonna go out there and just KILL IT! (in a good way of course!) So, when we got back to his apartment, his companion called him and it turned out that they had "Visitors" the next day. "Visitors" are people that come down from Mainland, are taught all the lessons, have the Baptismal Interview, are Baptized that very same day, and then go back to Mainland. So, we actually had to switch companionships, and I ended up being with an Elder that was in Elder Harper's MTC District. He was way cool and I learned so much from him! We did morning studies at his apartment the next day because we had decided to just stay the night with the Elders we were already assigned with, then just switch back the next day. It was weird going from my apartment that I've been in for the past four weeks, which just so happens to be the SMALLEST apartment in the whole Mission, to the LARGEST apartment in the whole Mission, which is where I did my morning studies! Haha! It was kinda a funny transition. We went finding the next day, when I was with the new Elder, and contacted TONS of people and had an extremely successful day! Ahhh! Hong Kong gets better and better each and every day! Today, we're having a combined Zone Activity and we're all going hiking on some nearby island, then having a barbeque afterwards. See, being on a Mission isn't just to bring investigators unto Christ, but to bring your companion, those in your District, and those in your Zone closer to the Savior as well, by gaining more unity and helping everyone with the language, teaching, and people skills! I love every bit of it!!! Well, I was going to get my suit today, but it turns out we don't really have much time and so I might have to wait a whole week again. Oh well, it's all good. At least I know it's ready. That's too bad the homies from BYU Idaho aren't able to come up this weekend. Oh, forgetful Clayton...Haha! They still BETTER find time to go up, and Nick can help show them around! You know what's up bro! Man, it was so good to hear all of you! I just keep thinking back to that and that it's not gonna be for another seven months. It's no problem though. I know we can do it cuz I can feel of ALL your wonderful spirits each and every day I'm here! I'm serious too. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of how lucky I am to have family and friends like all of you! It honesty is why I'm here right now. If it weren't for any of you, there's no way I would have been able to have done the things I've done, or been the places I've been, or be here right now. I love you all so much and I think of you every day! I feel your prayers and I thank you so incredibly much for that! I can't put into words how grateful I am for all of you, and especially for my Savior, Jesus Christ. He is what makes our love for each other possible. We are all forever indebted to Him, and I pray harder than I EVER have, pleading and beggin on my knees for Him to touch you, and to touch the hearts of the loving people of Hong Kong. I love this Gospel. It is and always will be EVERYTHING! I have only one purpose here in Hong Kong for two straight years...that is to help bring others unto Christ, our Lord and Savior. I love all of you with all my heart and hope and pray you never forget that! Thank you for all you've done for me, and all you continue to do for me! I can't express my thanks and gratitude enough! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!
Love Always-
Elder Carey
